Our prompt this week is Shock.
Write a poem with a shock ending. Emily Dickinson is quoted as saying “If I read a book and it makes my whole body so cold no fire can warm me I know that is poetry. If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry. These are the only way I know it. Is there any other way?” – write a poem with that kind of ending.
As always, please share your poem in the comments and I will be happy to read it and share my thoughts.

Still trying to think of a good one. 🙂

Some come quicker than others for sure. Try starting with something that shocked or disturbed you and then find a way to lead up to it.
