The metaphor of one’s mind as an island is interesting. The mind is indescribably vast, yet in a way it is like an island because it is physically disconnected from any other mind.

  Thanks for the post. I agree, it’s a lovely sunset. In another way the mind is like a forbidden island, we can never explore someone else’s mind on our own, only be told about it.
