The inescapable form
that is my shape.
For things to be worn
from the toes to the nape.
That is my shape
from narrow to wide.
From the toes to the nape
so many clothes must be tried.
From narrow to wide
the search begins.
So many clothes must be tried
from the racks to the bins.
The search begins
for things to be worn.
From the racks to the bins,
the inescapable form.

There’s a sense of tiredness in this. Or maybe I’m just projecting how I feel when shopping for clothes!

Thank you for your comment. The repetition of the pantoum was absolutely meant to create a sense of tiredness and plodding through.
