Things to behold and to marvel,
Our new adventures await,
And so begins our season of travel.
Embrace the unknown and prepare well,
All is in a ready state,
Things to behold and to marvel.
Adapt on the go and avoid a quarrel,
Flexibility is a traveler’s trait,
And so begins our season of travel.
Long lines are popularity’s tell.
Time to hurry up and wait,
Things to behold and to marvel.
Adventure begins as plans unravel,
Each trip has its own fate,
And so begins our season of travel.
With things to show and things to sell,
It’s us the shopkeepers anticipate.
Things to behold and things to marvel
And so begins our season of travel.

“Plans unravel” — recently, a friend and I drove to a museum an hour or so away, but long story short we ended up not doing that. What actually ended up happening was completely unplanned and awesome! 😀
